Arnstein Vestre

Welcome! I am a rising fifth-year PhD student in Economics at the University of Chicago.

I am affiliated with Norwegian Fiscal Studies at the University of Oslo and the Statistics Norway research department. Prior to starting the PhD, I was a pre-doc at the Becker Friedman Institute for Economics.

I do research in econometrics, with a focus on weak instruments. I have also done work in public economics, with a focus on tax evasion and economic inequality.
